I think it has potential
I've done a very short amount of
swatching for Maude and I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm still on the increasing part but I'm so excited and think it's close to gauge that I'm tempted to rip it off and just cast on the real thing. It could all end in tears or maybe, just maybe, winged victory!

Is that the Rowan Scottish Tweed?
It looks really good! And don't sweat the gauge, just make sure you have enough yarn.
It's actually Yorkshire Tweed 4-ply which was discontinued in favor of the Scottish Tweed. Great shame that the line was discontinued but that's marketing for you. I have a 10 pack so hopefully enough yarn!
